Deposit & Cancellation Policies

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is at 3:00 PM.
Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Guests must present a valid photo ID and credit card at check-in.
Guests under the age of 18 are only allowed to check-in with a parent or official guardian.

Early Check-in

Early check-in cannot be guaranteed in advance, but may be available upon request.
Please check with the front office upon arrival. The reservations office is unable to approve early check-in requests.
Guests arriving early are welcome to use the facilities while the unit us being prepared.
Luggage storage is limited but may be available at the front office.

Late Check-out

Late check-out cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.
If late check-out is desired, please stop by the front office during your stay.

Late check-out fees are as follows:

Approved late check-out between 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: $250.00 USD
Approved late check-out between 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: $450.00 USD
Approved late check-out after 3:00 PM: One night plus tax and fees

Unapproved Late Check-outs

Given the effort required to clean a condo, unapproved late check-outs can create significant challenges for our hard working housekeepers.
Guests that fail to check-out at 11:00 AM will incur a late check-out penalty of $450 USD if they have not received prior approval  from the front office.
Unapproved late check-outs after 12:00 noon may be subject to a late check-out penalty equal to an additional night plus tax and fees.

Front Office Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Sunday and holidays: closed
After-hours and Sunday check-ins can be accommodated, please contact us for details.

Rates

Rates are in $USD and do not include 13% government tax or 6% service fee.
Special offers and discounts may not be combined.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Rates will not be changed on any reservation confirmed with a deposit.
Rates include free WiFi, free local calling, free parking, and housekeeping.

Unit Occupancy

Rates include up to 6 guests.
In units that accommodate more than 6 guests, extra guests ages 3+ are subject to a $75 per night extra person fee, plus 13% tax and 6% service fee.
Please note that infants under the age of 3 are counted towards the maximum occupancy in a condo.

Accepted Methods of Payment

Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or wire transfer.

Condo Assignments

Since every unit at Casa Caribe is unique, every effort will be made to accommodate guests in the condominium that was booked.
Condo assignments cannot be guaranteed more than 12 months in advance.
Within 12 months of arrival, condo assignments will be changed only if unforeseen circumstances arise.
If an unforeseen issue arises, guests will be notified and provided with relocation options, or they may cancel without penalty.

Cancellation of Reservations Booked 12+ Months in Advance

Casa Caribe reserves the right to cancel reservations booked more than 12 months in advance for any reason.
Should Casa Caribe cancel a reservation, a minimum of 12 months’ notice will be provided to the guest.
In the event that Casa Caribe cancels a confirmed reservation, deposits will be refunded in full and all cancellation fees will be waived.

Smoking Policy

Smoking and vaping of any substance is prohibited in all guest areas including rooms, patios, balconies, lobby, parking areas, and outdoor common areas such as the tennis court.
We ask that guests smoke a minimum of 20 ft (6 m) away from any doors or windows.
We ask guests to be mindful of others while smoking, especially while on the beach, and dispose of cigarette butts in an appropriate receptacle.

Beach Chair Policy

Sun loungers and beach chairs may not be reserved at Casa Caribe.
Placing towels or personal items on a sun lounger or beach chairs will not be considered as use of a beach chair.
If towels or personal belongings are left on unattended beach chairs for an extended period, hotel staff will remove these items.  Any removed items may be collected from the front office during regular office hours.
Sun loungers and beach chairs may not be taken into the water at any time.

Pet Policy

Pets or animals of any kind are not permitted at Casa Caribe.

Loss or Damages

Guests are responsible for any damages that may occur during their stay, if caused by themselves or a member of their party.
Upon check-in and check-out, our staff conducts a thorough inspection of each room and any pre-existing damages will be noted.
Guests are  asked to report any issues or damages to the front office as quickly as possible.
Failure to report damages may result in the guest being held responsible for repairs or replacements.
Casa Caribe reserves the right to assess and determine the extent of damages.
In the event of damages, Casa Caribe will take payment using a guest’s credit card on file as required to remedy damages to a rental unit, including furnishings and contents, as well as any damages to Casa Caribe property.
Casa Caribe is not responsible for any damage or loss of a guest’s property that may occur during a stay.
There is a charge of US$35 per key for any room keys not returned upon departure.

Security Deposit

Guests are not required to pay a security deposit, but a valid credit card must be put on file upon check-in in case of damages.

Housekeeping

Casa Caribe is pleased to offer complimentary housekeeping service on every short term rental stay.
Housekeeping is provided daily, with the exception of Sundays and Cayman statutory holidays.
Daily service includes a light cleaning of tables and counters, a tidy of the kitchen, trash removal, sweeping, making beds and refreshing bathrooms.
To conserve water and energy, towels will be replaced if left on the floor in the washrooms. Towels hanging from towel bars will not be exchanged.
Linens will be exchanged every third day, unless requested sooner.
Beach towels are provided in every condo and can be exchanged one-for-one throughout your stay.
Please leave used beach towels on the bathroom floor or visit the office to exchange towels throughout your stay.
All condominiums have washer-dryers and come stocked with basic cleaning supplies.
Please note that housekeeping does not include laundry service or a full clean of the kitchen.
As a self-catering property, we ask that guest make use of dishwashers and wash any pots or pans.
Guests are welcome to decline housekeeping by hanging a privacy sign on their doorknobs.
Housekeepers must be permitted to service a unit on every 3rd day at minimum (or the following day if this falls on a Sunday or holiday).

Hurricane Policy

If a hurricane warning is issued for the Cayman Islands by the National Hurricane Center, with dates that overlap with your reservation, you may call or email to reschedule your stay, or you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund.
If a hurricane warning is issued during your stay and you are forced to depart early, a refund will be issued for any unused nights.
If your arrival is delayed due to a hurricane warning, a refund will be issued for any unused nights.
The Hurricane Policy does not apply if you are scheduled to arrive after a Hurricane has passed.
The Hurricane Policy does not apply for Tropical Storm watches, alerts and warnings or Hurricane watches and alerts.
The Hurricane Policy is only applicable on reservations booked directly with Casa Caribe.
